Covid-19/Training courses update

Textile centre building is mostly closed for students until further notice. We are currently working on updating the information and advice for staff and students on how the centre will operate from September 2020. Once the update is completed, we will publish the information on this webpage and promote through our social media channels.

The machine based training will be delivered only when this is safe to do so and is required to complete your training course. We are happy to support and help out students through different ways to e-learning to keep their learning journey continue.

Delivering training on hand-sew, mending, overlock and other skills within the industry. Multi skilled background starting on the shop floor advancing onto supervisor manager roles, sample finishing, product development, quality control. 46 years of experience working in the industry. Main skills are mending and hand-sew along with various others.

Qualifications include: Train the Trainer, SCQF Level 8 assessor and Internal auditor ISO 9001.
